This copy was used by J. E. Rowsey and his pencil notes appear throughout. Otherwise a solid copy, with light rubbing and shelfwear to the covers. The author was a chemistry professor at Vanderbilt University. An unusual book as it was published by the Methodist Episcopal Church but has zero religious content. Worldcat locates only 3 copies of this and any earlier editions.
