Small group of material relating to the poet John Ridland. The highlight is his mimeographed book Landmarks Poems 1959:1960, published in Upland, CA in 1960 in an edition of just 30 copies. This one is number 18 and inscribed to his friend Bill Brady on the front cover. 12 pp. Very Good. Other items include an ALS dated 1968 from Ridland to Brady. A Very Good copy of Poets of Today VIII that includes work by Ridland. Issue 1 of The Little Square Review, edited by Ridland and with gift inscription from him to Brady. Ridland's personal copy of The Transatlantic Review 13 which includes his poem Sunday Matins. A xeroxed poem, Ode on Violence, inscribed by Ridland to Brady. Finally, 2 of Ridland's poems that have been torn out from other books and a newspaper clipping reviewing Poets of Today. Books Very Good or better Poets of Today includes its dust jacket. A nice group of items from Ridland who still teaches in the English department at UCSB.
